Srinivasan wants crowded stadiums

Chennai: Newly appointed ICC chairman N Srinivasan said on Wednesday that the game’s governing body will devise new strategies of revenue generation that will enable them to encourage the cricket loving public back to the stadiums.

Srinivasan spoke during a high tea function organised by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, which saw a host of representatives from the other BCCI units in attendance.

The notable representatives were from Mumbai CA, Jharkhand State CA, CAB, Goa CA, Andhra CA, Hyderabad CA, Haryana CA, KSCA, Kerala CA.

The notable absentees were Maharashtra CA, Vidarbha CA, Assam CA and Tripura CA.

It was organised to celebrate Srinivasan faction’s retaining power at TNCA as well as his elevation to the top post of the International Cricket Council. (PTI)
