Malaria workers’ body formed

NONGSTOIN: Malaria programme workers have formed a newly association called the All Malaria Programme Workers’ Association (AMPWA) to fight for the cause of malaria workers.
Members of the Association informed that AMPWA would fight against the State Government which had terminated the services of 90 malaria workers in March last. AMPWA also urged the Government to re-appoint all the 90 workers.
The AMPWA consist of Jetwin Lyngdoh as president, P. Star Sohlama as vice president, Alan Kharbani as general secretary, besides other members.
