SHILLONG: Imson secured a 2-1 win against Mawlai in their First Division match on Wednesday at Polo Grounds.
Imson’s first lead came only in the 81st minute with J Dkhar’s goal and five minutes later they sealed their win with their second goal through M Shylla.
The final match of the 1st Div Tournament will be held on August 30 3.30pm between Shillong United F.C and Laitumkhrah SS&CCat the J N Complex, Polo Grounds, Shillong
Meanwhile, in a Third Division match, Umlyngka’s L Nongsiej scored two goals to give his team a huge 4-1 win over Lapalang.
L. Nongsiej scored the first 2 goals in the 9th and 17th minutes followed by P. Warjri in the 22nd minute.
Lapalang responded in the 30th min but J Lyngdoh hammered the final nail in the 64th minute.
Rynjah will play Umphyrnai on Thursday at 4:15 pm.
