S Maxwell Lyngdoh has been awarded the Doctor of Philosophy from Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong on the topic “A study on the effectiveness of Media as an agent to alleviate Economic Poverty in Meghalaya with a special focus on Rural East Khasi Hills” under the Supervision of Dr. Samuel W Meshack, PhD (U.K). He is the son of (L) Dr. DR Shullai and Mrs. EM Lyngdoh of Pohktieh, Nongthymmai.
Maribon Viray Sangma, wife of Larkinson D. Sangma, has been awarded Doctor of Philosophy in Counselling Psychology by the Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong for her thesis entitled “Career Orientations and Career Counselling: A School Based Intervention Study of Urban and Rural Indigenous High School Students in the East Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya” completed under the supervision of Dr. Gideon Arulmani, Ph.D (UK).
