SHILLONG: The foundation laying ceremony for the proposed construction of 20 additional residential accommodations for DAD officers and staff was held Demseiniong here on Thursday.
Controller General of Defence Accounts, Vandana Srivastava, was the chief guest on the occasion. The Defence Accounts Department (DAD) provides accounting, internal audit, payment and financial advice services to the armed forces and other organizations under the Ministry of Defence.
