Injured man found

On September 3 morning, one unidentified male (40) was found lying with injuries at Rilbong Traffic Point, Shillong. He was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.

NGT ban violation

On September 2 around 4 am, Police detained one truck (AS-01-DD-3392) driven by Gerry Aibor Rapsang (22) for transporting coal in violation of NGT order at Mawryngkneng (EKH). Investigation is on.

Vehicle theft

Phillby Lyngdoh lodged a complaint at Laban PS that on September 2, unknown miscreants stole one Bolero Camper (ML-10A-2889) which was parked at Kynjat Phutbol, Upper Lumparing, Shillong.

Susie Kharbhih of Mawkriah Mawphlang (EKH) lodged a complaint at Laban PS that on August 22, one Hame Shylla approached her for purchasing her Tata Safari vehicle (ML-10A-3553). On August 23, he took the vehicle from her residence for a test drive but had not returned the vehicle till date.

Cyber threat

One lady lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that she came in contact with one John Henry through social media who asked her to deposit Rs. 1,37,500 in different accounts failing which he threatened to upload explicit photos of the Complainant on Facebook.

Assault

Meril Nongrud lodged a complaint at Sohra PS that on August 31 around 11.30 pm, one Dmiew Nongrud went to the residence of her brother Painwell Nongrud and assaulted him. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to NEIGRIHMS.

Snatching case

Partei Saza lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on August 31, one Vicky Biswa and his accomplices snatched her bag containing Rs. 15 lakh at Hotel Yalana, Laitumkhrah, Shillong
