SHILLONG: Malki scripted a 1-0 win playing against a weakened Nangkiew Irat on Thursday at the JN Sports Complex. With a loss behind their backs against MLP in their previous game, Malki looked a determined lot on thursday as they came up with a late but decisive goal with E. Buam making the contribution. Nangkiew failed to keep up despite coming out of an 8-0 win when they faced Boys Sports Company in their last match.

ARC made it 1-0 against Riatsamthiah after Lalmalsawma scored in the 51st minute.
Third Division
Meanwhile, Lumpyngad came back from two goals behind to draw 2-2 in their match against Mawtawar. Mawtawar’s R. Mukhim performed brilliantly to put his team in front with a two-goal lead which was however, thrown away after they conceded late. G. Kharbyngar scored Lumpyngad’s first goal in the 55th minute which was followed up by another from team mate D. Jala.
In another match Qualapaty and Rynjah also drew 2-2 in what became a see-saw battle between the two sides. Qualapatty drew first blood with an 8th minute goal from S. Warjri before Rynjah struck back with two goals to snatch the lead.
