Lajong dominate over Langsning

SHILLONG: Shillong Lajong put up a dominant display on Saturday’s Shillong Premiere League match with a comprehensive 3-0 win over a depleted Langsning. Th. Bipin Singh provided the breakthrough in the 28th minute and Lajong held on to their one-goal lead until half time.

However, the second half yielded two more goals to allow the spirited Lajong youth-comprised team a 3-0 victory. S. Kharpran scored in the 64th minute before H. Nongbri followed it up with one more in the 82nd minute.

Second Division:

Ryntih brought down Krang 2-0 in a match at Ground III. Ryntih’s first goal came through B. Marbaniang in the 8th minute while his team mate S. Kahit added on more in the 62nd minute.

Third Division:

In This game, Risa Colony and Mawklot drew 0-0 despite both sides creating a number of chances. Meanwhile, yet another sterling performance by S. Rynjah catapulted Jongksha to a nail-biting 3-2 win against Madanryting Madanryting forward M. Tung Zou’s valiant efforts went in vain despite scoring two goals in the 10th and 50th minutes. S. Rynjah’s goals came in the 16th and 59th minutes while K. Rynjah scored in the 70th minute.

Second Division: Nongthymmai vs. Mawkhar at 4pm Grnd III

Third Division: Mawtawar vs. Lapalang at 1:30pm & Nongrim Hills vs. Qualapatty at 4pm Ground II
