Actress Angelina Jolie has given her new husband Brad Pitt a rare watch worth nearly 2 millionpounds. The 39-year-old actress’s romantic gesture came to light after the 1952 Patek Philippe platinum chronometer was taken to a small shop by a friend to be inscribed with the words ‘To Roly from Nessa’, it was reported. They are characters the newlyweds play in the film ‘By The Sea’, which they are currently making in Malta. George Farrugia, 57, who runs Dolindo Jewellers on the neighbouring island of Gozo, said, “I did inscribe the watch, it was for Brad and it was a rare one. Oh yes, it was very valuable. “I wasn’t nervous about the inscription because I knew I could do the work perfectly.” Pitt and Jolie, who wed last month after nine years together, are keeping out of the limelight during the project although they have taken their children – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox – bowling in Gozo. Former model Katie Price says she does not like it when singer Miley Cyrus wears her hair ‘really short’. The 36-year-old discussed her likes and dislikes about celebrity hairdos in an interview with OK! Magazine, reports a website. “Miley Cyrus’ – I just don’t like it when it’s really short,” she said. Price also said that she is fond of “The Saturdays” Frankie Bridge’s cropped hairs, but would never try to replicate the look as her naturally curly hair wouldn’t work well with the style. “Actually Frankie from ‘The Saturdays’ has nice hair. Whenever I look at her hair, I always think I’d like to go short, but the thing is, because my hair is really curly, it wouldn’t stay like that. As soon as it rains, my hair would just start frizzing up,” she said. The brunette beauty also added that she is a huge fan of former “Coronation Street” star Michelle Keegan’s sleek brown locks, but isn’t sure how much of her hair is real. (IANS)
Beyonce performs despite wardrobe malfunction
Singer Beyonce Knowles suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction when her blouse burst open during a performance here. The singer’s lacy white blouse popped open revealing her flesh coloured brassiere mid-way through the performance at the Great Lawn of Central Park. However, the “Crazy in love” hitmaker was unruffled by the mishap and continued with her performance in front of 60,000 people. The singer was performing with her husband and rapper Jay-Z in Global Citizen Festival Saturday when the mishap happened, reports a website.
