Inauguration
The inaugural function of the 18 Degrees Festival 2014 will be held on October 9 at 11.30am at the State Central Library premises. Chief Minister Mukul Sangma will be the chief guest on the occasion.
Panel discussion
SAN-KER will organize a panel discussion, which will brainstorm on mental health issues and try to bring about positive mental health in the State, on October 10 at 1pm, at the Conference Hall, Pinewood Hotel, Shillong, to coincide with the observance of Mental Health Day. This year, the focus would be on ‘Living with Schizophrenia’.
Donation
Sri Sarada Sangha, Shillong, donated Rs.20,000 in cheque to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund on September 30 last. President of Sangha, Uma Purkayastha, along with the Secretary and the Assistant Secretary, presented the cheque to Chief Minister Mukul Sangma in his office chamber.
