Pop star Lady Gaga has criticised Madonna for apparently not helping young and aspiring artists. The 28-year-singer said if she was an established artist she would have helped others, reported the Daily Mirror. When asked who her biggest musical influences are, Gaga named David Bowie, Queen, Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson. She added, “I would like to say Madonna, but let me tell you something.
If I was an established artist, I would love to help younger artists.”
When the reporter asked her, “What do you mean, that Madonna has no soul?”, Gaga replied, “You said it, not me!” Madonna, 56, previously openly accused the ‘Bad Romance’ singer of copying her song ‘Express Yourself’ for her tune ‘Born This Way’. (PTI)
