MPHRC condemns cop’s killing

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Peoples Human Rights Council (MPHRC) has condemned the brutal killing of a Sub-Inspector Pramoth Sangma (50) by suspected ultras while he was leading the police team during an operation in Purakhasia area of West Garo Hills District on Thursday. While condoling the death of the police official, MPHRC Chairman, Dino Dympep urged the government to identify and bring to book the killers of Sangma.
