Support to MUA remains: NCP

SHILLONG: Despite split in NCP-Congress alliance in Maharashtra, the State NCP will continue to extend support to Congress-led MUA -II government in Meghalaya.
Informing this here on Friday, the State NCP chief and South Shillong legislator Sanbor Shullai said that his party would to extend support to MUA-II government till the  end of the term.
Besides Shullai, who is also the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, another NCP legislator Marthon Sangma is supporting the MUA-II Government led by Mukul Sangma.
The MUA-II comprises 29 Congress legislators, 2 NCP members and 11 Independents.
