Actress Marcia Strassman dies

Actress Marcia Strassman, who is known for her roles in ‘Welcome Back, Kotter’ as well as comedy ‘Honey I Shrunk the Kids’ and its sequel ‘Honey I Blew Up the Kids’ with Rick Moranis, has passed away. She was 66. Her sister Julie Strassman confirmed that the actress passed away on Friday, October 24 at her Sherman Oaks, California, home following a battle with breast cancer, reported Deadline. “She was the funniest, smartest person I ever met. And talented. She knew everything. “So sad that a sweet friend, kind person & wonderful actress Marcia Strassman lost her brave battle with cancer on Sunday,” he wrote.  She was also a member on the national board of the Screen Actors Guild.  Strassman is survived by her daughter and brother Steven Strassman.
