Pakistan jump to 3rd, India hit low to 6th in ICC Test rankings

Dubai: Following their 2-0 series win over Australia, Pakistan leapfrogged England, Sri Lanka and India to take third position in the latest ICC Test Team rankings released on Monday.
The Misbah ul Haq-led side, which won their first series against Australia in 20 years, also achieved their best ranking since they claimed third position in January 2007 following the series in S Africa, which the home side won 2-1.
Pakistan have 105 points. Australia dropped six points but managed to retain second spot with 117 points while top-ranked South Africa have 124 points.
England (104 points), Sri Lanka (101) and India (96) are fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively while New Zealand, the West Indies, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh are lying at seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth, respectively in ICC Test rankins. (IANS)
