Jongksha win Third Division; Rangdajied come from behind to beat Malki

SHILLONG: Malki led in the 7th minute but struggled in the latter stages of their Imperial Blue Shillong Premiere League match against Rangdajied United before going down 3-1. Malki scored in only the 7th minute through F. Mukhim but a double strike by Joel Ayeni allowed the Blues a 3-1 victory.

Joel levelled scores for Rangdajied in the 17th minute before adding another goal in the 90th minute of play. Meanwhile, B. Nongdhar’s 85th minute shot went past Malki’s goalkeeper to Rangdajied United their first lead before going on to win 3-1.

In the Third Division finals, Jongksha scored four goals past Nongrim Hills to claim the winning trophy with a 4-1 victory. A. Rynjah scored twice in the 45th and in the 65th minute for Jongksha while S. Kharsohnoh scored in the 39th minute and K. Rynjah added the last goal in the 69th minute. For Nongrim Hills, P. Suting scored in the 30th minute which put them in the lead. but they were unable to hold on.
