Anticipatory bail denied

JOWAI: The Court of the District and Session Judge, Jowai on Thursday refused to grant anticipatory bail to the JHTOA President, Balen Thubru, who allegedly assaulted two on-duty media persons recently. The incident took place at Soomer, Mihmyntdu near Jowai at around 9:30 pm on Monday last. Injured media persons were Ruhi Phawa of U Ri-luk Youtube Online News Channel and his colleague Paul Lamare.
