As the Kolkata leg of Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Piku’ comes to an end today, megastar Amitabh Bachchan feels it will be tough for him to leave the city.

The 72-year-old actor, who spent his earlier days in Kolkata, visited almost all the places of the city during the month long shoot of the film here. “As the Kolkata schedule closes in to an end, withdrawal symptoms creep in.. Shall be a tough leave.. BUT.. We shall be back!,” he posted on Twitter. Bachchan plays the role of a father to Deepika Padukone for a second time after Prakash Jha’s ‘Aarakshan’.

Sircar too took to Twitter and thanked West Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the support. “‘PIKU’ finishes Kolkata schedule… Grateful to the CM of West Bengal, Mamata di, for her support and warmth… This would not have been possible without her blessings… And to the people of Kolkata, for their love, for making us feel at home… From PIKU team… Dhonobaad!!,” Sircar tweeted.
