TURA: Just on the heels of militants triggering an IED blast on a police party in South Garo Hills on Tuesday, suspected GNLA militants lobbed a grenade near the Rongram outpost at around 8:45pm on Wednesday. No one was injured in the incident.

According to West Garo Hills district police chief, Mukesh Kr Singh, the miscreants fled after committing the crime.

Although no militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack police suspect the involvement of the proscribed GNLA.
