JSU warns people of fraud project

JOWAI: The JSU has warned the people, particularly the educated unemployed youths, not to fall prey to a fake Gramin Shiksha and Gram Vikas Pariyojna which is claiming to be a rural public service organization.

According to the JSU, several headmen have received a letter from the Director of the Gramin Shiksha and Gram Vikas Pariyojna asking them to send five unemployed educated youth for employment.

The letter was received along with an application form asking each candidate to send a demand draft of Rs.750 in favour of Panther Sales payable at Delhi.

The letter was address to the Gram Pradhan (headman) with a subject – Ministry of Development to provide employment to literate unemployed villagers to get success by Gramin Vikas Pariyojna.

The JSU, after learning of the matter, met Acting Deputy Commissioner D.P. Wahlang to enquire if he had any knowledge of the scheme.

Wahlang, however, clarified that there was no such scheme by thia name.
