SHILLONG: With the speculations doing the rounds on the possibility of an all-party government in the state, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on Wednesday told newsmen that he would inform the media, if such a move takes shape.
“If the move is concrete, I will let you know,” was the answer of the Chief Minister when the question was raised by reporters on whether there is a plan to have an all-party government.
Meanwhile, five days after the resignation of Home Minister Roshan Warjri, the Chief Minister is yet to fill up the vacancy.
The Chief Minister is currently holding the Home portfolio.
When asked about finding a replacement of Warjri, the Chief Minister replied, “I will let you know.”
On his sudden Delhi visit on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said that he went to the national capital to meet Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh. “We discussed the law and order situation among other things,” he said.
He said the main purpose of his visit to Delhi was to attend the India-Arab Partnership Conference.
Urban Affairs Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh had also accompanied the Chief Minister to Delhi on Tuesday.
