SHILLONG: In the Inter District Under -19 age category Cricket Tournament organized by Meghalaya Cricket Association, West Garo Hills registered an easy win over All Jaintia Cricket Association and virtually assured a place in the semi-finals line up.
Winning the toss, West Garo put in All Jaintia to bat first. The latter could manage 125 runs in 31.2 overs, with Dauru Lato top scoring 28 runs and Kyrshan Lyngdoh 23 runs. Lyngdoh and Ram Toi claimed a wicket each for All Jaintia. West Garo won by 6 wickets with overs to spare.
In Saturday’s match East Khasi Hills will meet All Jaintia Cricket Association.
