Outreach Prog

Cacti 360 degree group and Green Route will organizing the first Brotherhood Outreach on December 20 .Through this outreach, a team of volunteer on motorcycles would distribute clothes, toys, blankets, crayons and books to different households at the outskirt of Shillong as a pre-Christmas gesture to those who actually require help. Citizens are also welcome to ride or drive along with the participants and volunteers on the event date or they can drop their donations at Cacti 360 degree group, 2nd Floor above Styler, Don Bosco Square, Laitumkhrah, or at  Merin’s Royal Enfield Showroom, Polo, Shillong.

Sports meet

Jaidoh Youth  Sports Association Village, Jaidoh (Nongstoin  Block) in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan  Nongstoin, will organize an Inter Youth Club Sports Meet Programme 2014-15 at Jaidoh Village Play Ground (Under Nongstoin Block ) WKH from December 2 to December 20. Block Development Officer Nongstoin will attend as the the chief guest of this programme.

Road show

As part of the 16 days of activism against gender violence, the Meghalaya State Commission for Women in collaboration with Martin Luther Christian University will organize a road show on December 2 where students will perform flash mob and role plays on issues related to women and children in the streets followed by a quiz.

Lok Adalat

District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum will hold the national Lok Adalat on December 6 at 1 pm in the chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, DC Office, Room no 301.

Cleaning drive

The Nongmensong Dorbar Shnong will hold its annual cleaning drive on December 8 from 8 am onwards. In a statement issued here on Monday, the Dorbar informed that vehicles will not be allowed to ply in the internal road of the locality till the completion of the cleaning drive. The Dorbar also urged upon the resident of the locality to come out in large number to participate in the cleaning drive.
