SHILLONG: Health and Family Welfare Minister AL Hek represented the Meghalaya government at the funeral of former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Jarbom Gamlin held in Itanagar on Wednesday.
The Meghalaya Minister and AICC general secretary in-charge North-East V Narayanaswamy paid tributes to the former Congress stalwart. Gamlin (53) died on Sunday night while undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon.
He was suffering from liver thrombosis which affected other vital organs. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and a son.
