Imphal: Life remained paralysed here for the second day on Thursday following twin indefinite strikes on the two National Highways here.
Vehicles went off the roads and the streets wore a deserted look, official sources said. The Sadar Hills Districthood Demand Committee had imposed the blockade since July 31 last demanding a district status for Sadar Hills which is under Senapati district. Opposing the demand, the United Naga Council had also imposed another blockade on the highways. (UNI)
