SHILLONG: Shillong Cricket Association won by 6 wickets against All Jaintia Cricket Association to enter the final of the tournament in the Inter District U-16 Cricket Tournament organized by Meghalaya Cricket Association. SCA registered a comfortable victory over AJCA.
On winning the toss AJCA could muster only 82 runs all out in 21.5 overs with Edify Patwet scoring 16 runs(37 balls) & Heipormi Laloo 14 runs(29 balls).SCA in reply crossed the modest total scoring 84 runs in 22.1 overs losing 4 wickets, overcoming early loss of wickets. Middle order batsmen Ram Chauhan 19 runs(27 balls) & Surya Rai 15 runs(20 balls) steadied the innings to take their side to victory. In the second semi final on Monday East Khasi Hills will play with South West Khasi Hills.
