WILLIAMNAGAR: The final match of the Williamnagar Open Knockout Football Tournament, organised by the Williamnagar District Sports Association was played here on Saturday between Rangmalbadim FC and Williamnagar FC, with the former coming through with a narrow 1-0 victory.
Rangmalbadim therefore claimed the trophy and a cash award of Rs 30,000, while the runners-up were awarded Rs 15,000.
The player of the tournament was Robin Sangma of Rangmalbadim, who received a cash prize and trophy.
