The oldest dam in North East was opened for full traffic flow

The recently repaired road above one of the oldest dams in the entire North East Umiam Stage-I was opened for the full traffic flow by the Director (Generation), Meghalaya Power Generation Corporation Limited (MePGCL) Elias Lyngdoh on December 19. As per Director (Generation), there are plans to put up digital signboards beside the cleaning mechanism which will see the entire stretch of Dam Road top a bit clean while also terming the completion of the repair work of the road above the damn as Christmas and New Year gift from MePGCL to the people of Meghalaya.
