SHILLONG: Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya has been granted the membership of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) vide its notificationon September 5. MGU has already gained the membership of various known Associations like AAOU, PHD Chamber, FICCI and CII and has bagged the prestigious awards like “Best Innovation in Open & Distance Education for K-12 & Higher Education and “Excellence in Distance Education Distance Education University” in World Education Summit 2012. The membership of AIU is an additional feather in the cap of MGU.
