SHILLONG: The United Democratic Party (UDP) Jaiaw constituency has said that granting of 344 trading licenses is only an allegation stating that most of these are for renewal.
In a statement issued here, the UDP has come in defence of Jaiaw MDC Paul Lyngdoh at a time when Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) sent memorandum to him stating that the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) has issued 344 trading licenses.
