Protest in EJH against transporting coal from Assam

JOWAI: Various pressure groups in East Jaintia Hills (EJH) in Meghalaya including the Synjuk ki Rangbah Shnong – a conglomeration of all village headmen in the district staged protest near EJH Deputy Commissioner’s   Office against the state goverment for allowing cement plants to transport coal from Assam to their respective factories in East Jaintia Hills.
