New Delhi: A delegation of TDP leaders on Monday met CBI Director A P Singh here on Monday and demanded re-investigation into the sensational killing of its MLA Paritala Ravi in 2005.

The delegation led by TDP MP Nama Nageswara Rao urged the agency to investigate all angles in the murder, including the possibility of involvement of political leaders.

“The CBI Director said he will look into the case,” Rao said.

Ravi was killed on January 24, 2005 creating ripples in the state politics.

His killing has also inspired a Bollywood movie ‘Rakth Charitra’ The petition says, “The role of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in this murder and events followed thereon has not being investigated properly.”

Interestingly, the main accused in the case was also killed. “The Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy said he spent 60 days to protect Jaganmohan when he was involved in the murder.
