SHILLONG: Former Director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and well known spine surgeon Prof. PK Dave will inaugurate the 3rd National Annual Conference (lORACON-2011) of Indian Orthopaedic Rheumatology Association at NEIGRIHMS on Saturday.
The two–day conference, being organized by the Department of Orthopaedics NEIGRIHMS, aims at “improving the quality of care provided to arthritic patients through sharing of knowledge, commitment and advocacy”.
More than 10 nationally renowned orthopaedic surgeons from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Goa, Varanasi, Lucknow, Karnataka and Patna are arriving at Shillong to deliver lectures on various problems pertaining to bone joints.
The two-day scientific brainstorming session is organized with support from ICMR, NEC, NIOH and NEIGRIHMS besides OSS & NEROSA.
