New Delhi: Upping the ante against Anna Hazare now after Baba Ramdev, the Congress on Monday said the civil rights activist had the backing of the RSS and described the Lokpal Bill tirade against government as the ‘tyranny of the unelected.’
Congress spokesman Manish Tewari told reporters here that Mr Hazare was backed by ‘saffron forces as the Gandhian had praised Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar immediately after breaking his fast. The Congress spokesman said Mr Hazare did not comment on Karnataka government but criticised other parties whenever he visited Bangalore. (UNI)
