London: Newly-wed couple Kate Moss and Jamie Hince have reportedly headed off to their honeymoon. The couple married in the British village of Little Faringdon in Gloucestershire July 1 in front of guests that included Paul McCartney and Jude Law. After the nuptials, they enjoyed two days of parties, starting with a reception to stretching with live music and performances from stars including Iggy Pop, Dame Shirley Bassey and Bryan Ferry. The ceremonies finally wrapped up July 3, when Moss and “The Kills” frontman boarded a helicopter to begin their post-wedding vacation. (IANS)
Radcliffe became dependent on alcohol
London: Actor Daniel Radcliffe revealed he became dependent on alcohol when he was 18 while struggling to cope with the pressures of fame. The 22-year-old actor, who rose to fame in 2001 when he first played the titular role in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, says he started drinking heavily while working on the sixth movie in the franchise, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”. “I became so reliant on alcohol to enjoy stuff. There were a few years there when I was just so enamoured with the idea of living some sort of famous person’s lifestyle that really isn’t suited to me,” the actor said. Radcliffe gave up alcohol in August last year. (IANS)
Selena Gomez avoids surfing internet
London: Singer-actress Selena Gomez has given up surfing the internet after receiving nasty online comments from fans jealous of her romance with singer Justin Bieber. Gomez, 18, and Bieber, 17, went public with their relationship this year. But the revelation infuriated some of the Baby hitmaker’s fans, who targeted Gomez online. “It’s weird, it’s just weird, but I don’t pay attention to it, I just try to live my life as normal as possible. I just like to not focus on what the whole world is saying about me and just be happy with myself,” Gomez said. “I try to not read magazines or the internet but it’s obviously unavoidable. I mean, it’s everywhere, so there are moments where I read things that hurt my feelings But not most of the time. I don’t surround my life with magazines or the internet,” she added. (IANS)
Rihanna, Drake dating?
London: Singer Rihanna has reportedly revived her romance with Drake. She was photographed cuddling the rapper at a nightclub in Canada. The photograph obtained by a website shows the stars sitting close together at the Buonanotte Supperclub in Montreal, with Drake’s arm wrapped around Rihanna’s shoulders. They briefly dated following Rihanna’s split from Chris Brown in 2009. But the Umbrella singer subsequently admitted she put a stop to the budding relationship because she was not ready for another boyfriend. She went on to date Los Angeles Dodgers star Matt Kemp, but remained friends with Drake. They are now rumoured to be giving their romance a second try. (IANS)
