Rotary Club of Shillong started its first phase of tree plantation drive on Saturday in association with NEIGRIHMS. 150 pine saplings were planted in the new campus with the help of management and staff of NEIGRIHMS. Such drives would also be conducted at Military Hospital, Ferrando Speech and Hearing Centre, Assamese Secondary School, Children’s Hospital and Army School.
Zoonosis day
The Ri-Bhoi district unit of the Meghalaya Veterinary Services Association celebrated the World Zoonosis Day at Kyrdem and its adjoining villages with a free vaccination camp cum awareness programme on Zoonotic diseases.
