One killed, two injured in mishap

Bangalore: One person died and two injured when the two-wheeler they were riding, was hit by a tipper lorry near Anekal taluk in Bangalore Rural district today, police said. The deceased was identified as Chalapthi (22), a native of Anekal, police told PTI. The injured have been admitted to hospital. The petrol tank of the two-wheeler which came under the lorry broke, resulting in the lorry being paritally burnt, police said. The lorry driver has been arrested. (PTI)
