‘Black Swan role should have been mine’

London: Actress Lindsay Lohan reportedly told a writer that she should have played the lead role in Black Swan because she had years of ballet training.

Actress Natalie Portman, who played the role of ballet dancer Nina Sayers in 2010 movie, earned the Best Actress Oscar for her performance.

Plum Miami magazine writer Jacquelynn Powers reports that Lohan told her that she did “ballet until she was 19 and was indignant that she was not considered for the movie Black Swan”, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The 25-year-old recently spent 35 days confined to her Californian home in lieu of jail time for taking a necklace from a boutique and violating the terms of her 2007 conviction for driving under the influence of liquor. (IANS)
