Marathon

As part of commemoration of the 176th death anniversary of U Tirot Sing Syiem, the HNYF Mairang Subdivision Circle will organise a marathon on July 18. The marathon, which is open to all, will start from Madan Tirot Mairang at 7 am and will traverse the whole township of Mairang. Cash awards of Rs 1500, Rs 1000 and Rs 500 will be handed over to the top three runners respectively in both men and women categories.

General meet

The Keating Road Welfare Organisation will hold its triennial general meeting at Eiati Tori Complex at Keating Road here on Sunday.

Eye camp

As part of the Women’s week celebration, Jingiaseng Kynthei Mawkhar Presbyterian organised an eye camp in collaboration with Bansara Eye Care Centre on Friday at AW Thomas Upper Primary School, Killing. Dr JV Basaiawmoit spoke on eye awareness. The camp was attended by nearly 200 people.

Pensioners’ meet

The State Bank of India, laitumkhrah branch will organise a pensioners’ meet at the branch premises on Monday at 11:30 am.
