Ampati, July 20: The District Administration, South West Garo Hills, has informed that the online application process for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST)-2027 for admission to Class VI at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Kendrikona is currently open and will continue till 31st July, 2026.
The information has been received from the Principal In-Charge, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendrikona, following a communication from the Commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas provide free, quality residential education to talented children, with special emphasis on students from rural areas. The schools offer modern educational facilities, boarding and lodging, textbooks, uniforms and other essential amenities at no cost to the students.
The JNVST-2027 for admission to Class VI is scheduled to be held on 28th November, 2026.
The District Administration has appealed to parents, teachers, school authorities, village leaders and all stakeholders to ensure that eligible students are informed about this opportunity and encouraged to apply within the stipulated deadline. Educational institutions, local bodies and concerned departments have also been requested to extend necessary support in disseminating information to students, particularly those residing in remote and rural areas.
Eligible students may submit their applications online on or before 31st July, 2026 through the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti admission portal. Applicants are advised to complete the registration well before the closing date to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
