City lads in Arsenal soccer festival

 Shillong: Three boys from Shillong will represent the country for the 21st Arsenal International Soccer Festival (U-15 Football) to be held at Royal Holloway University of London, to be held from July 23 to 30. These three lads, Jamborki lakai (defender), Chester Paul Lyngdoh (striker) of Om Roy Secondary School were trained under the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Shillong alongwith Sushil Meithei,winner of the skills test, from Boys Sports Company were short listed from a week long coaching camp organized by the Arsenal Tata Tea Jaago Re Soccer Stars held recently at Kolkata. In total, 30 boys from across the country participated at the coaching camp where only 16 were selected.
