IMPHAL: Eight militants — seven cadres of the banned Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) and one of the People’s United Liberation Front (PULF)– were arrested in Manipur, official sources said on Sunday.M Rajen, his two wives, M Ibemcha, M Romobala , N Ningthem and S Chandra were arrested during a search operation by police commandos in Wangjing area of interior Thoubal district on saturday evening.A sum of Rs 5000 and four extortion letters were recovered from them.Another KCP militant identified as Th Jineshore was also arrested from Lamlong area .
