NEW DELHI:Suresh Kalmadi, the jailed former Commonwealth Games (CWG) Organising Committee chief, and other co-accused in the CWG scam have requested the special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court for a separate van to travel to the court as they fear an attack by other undertrials travelling with them.

“It is not that they (high-profile prisoners in CWG case) are taken to the court everyday with the other accused… they are given proper security.

As of now the 2G accused are taken in a separate jail van,” a jail official said. (IANS)
