Workshop on Centre’s animal husbandry schemes

Shillong: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Meghalaya Regional Office-Shillong organised a State-level workshop on Centrally Sponsored Schemes under Animal Husbandry Sector at Hotel Polo Towers recently.

Delivering the inaugural address, State Chief Secretary, WMS Pariat highlighted the need for the departments and bankers to work together to make farmers aware of the Central schemes which would benefit the farmers and the State as well.

Others present included NABARD General Manager A Sandilya, Officer In-charge of Meghalaya Regional Office of NABARD RS Jodha and Director of State Animal and Husbandry department Dr L Lyngwa.
