Speaker to attend Commonwealth parliamentary meet in UK

 Shillong: Speaker Ch-arles Pyngrope will attend the 57th annual Commonwealth Parliamentary Conferences in London, UK scheduled from July 24 to 28. The conference will discuss topics relating to climate change, parliamentary reforms, migration issues, good governance, world economy, women as agent of change, technological threats to international, national and personal security and the role parliamentarians in advancing the transfer of agricultural technology and research. Pyngrope will be participating in the discussion on parliamentary reforms- raising the benchmark and enhancing good governance and accountability.
