State lads to vie for Bayern coaching

 SHILLONG: Two young footballers from the State, B Marvin Synnah of St Edmund’s School, Shillong and Rishat Lynkhoi of Mawlangiri Presbyterian School, Mawlyn have been selected from the North East for trials in Kolkata for coaching in Germany at the Allianz Stadium, under a Bayern Munich coach. The duo from Meghalaya have been selected during a trial camp held in Guwahati on July 16 and they will travel to Kolkata on Monday for the final trials.In total 30 players, selected from all over the country, will vie for the six slots to participate in the coaching camp to be held in Germany for almost a week.It may be mentioned that one Rupert Nongrum and Dave Syiem had participated in the same camp in Germany in 2010.
