London: Singer Robbie Williams says that he is a secret communist but struggles with guilt because he also likes to buy expensive things.

The 37-year-old ‘Take That’ member says that he struggles with his political beliefs because he wants to buy a Rolls Royce, reported Contactmusic. “Capitalistic conspiracy? I’m with you. The system is destined to explode and I think it’s sooner rather than later. If we could get communism to work without corruption. I’m in. The Rolls Royce Phantom is the ultimate symbol (for me any way) of our desire for ‘stuff’ and it’s all ‘stuff’.

“Fasten your seatbelt we’re in for a bumpy ride. I’m a socialist capitalist which leads to guilt,” he wrote on his blog. Williams is having such a dilemma over his lavish tastes, that he has asked his fans for their advice on whether he should splash out on the extravagant vehicle.

“I’m having a bit a Rolls Royce Phantom issue at the minute. Have been for a couple of years now,” he added. (PTI)
