TURA:Department of Education, North-Eastern Hill University, Tura Campus, Tura in Collaboration with P.A.Sangma Foundation Tura and Comparative Education Society of India, New Delhi organized a two day National Conference on Universalisation of secondary education: prospects and challenges with special reference to North-East India in view of RMSA from from 25-26.

The conference was coordinated by Dr. Nikme SC Momin and Madhusudan JV, faculty members, Department of Education, NEHU, Tura Campus.

The objective of the conference was to consolidate the policy debate needed around achieving ‘universal secondary education with special reference to north-east India in view of RMSA’.The conference tried to bring a positive document as a result of serious deliberations by the experts in the field which may inform policy planning and programme management with a view to improve several momentous aspects of secondary education in the states of north-east India.
