Blood donation

The St Anthony’s College will organise a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp in the college premises from 10am onwards on Thursday.

 Exhibition

The Khasi Publishers’ Allied Society (KPAS) Shillong will organise a Book Exhibition-Cum-Sale followed by a Debate competition which will be participated by school students at Khasi National Durbar Hall, Mawkhar from 9am till 7pm on August 5 and 6.

 BED course

Old students of BED programme belonging to 1999 and 2000 batches and the students from later batches, who missed the opportunity of Re-admission in left-over Courses of BED can avail re-admission from July 2011 to January 2013 cycles.

 Training

The Meghalaya Aids Control Society will organise a two-day State Level Training of Trainers (TOT) for Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHAs) on Mainstream HIV at Hotel Pegasus Crown on August 4 and 5.

 Condolence

The Meghalaya Hindu Mission held a condolence meeting on July 29 in the Mission premises to condole the death of president of the Mission BN Dutta on July 26. The meeting observed a two minutes silence for eternal peace of the departed soul.

The meeting also conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family.

 Prize

The Prize Distribution Ceremony of the 37th Cultural Competition will be held on Saturday at 3pm at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre.

The annual general body meeting of Asom Kristi Kendra Puja Committee will be held on August 6th at Asom Kristi Kendra Puja Mandir at 4 pm.
