NONGSTOIN: The KSU Kyrshai unit met home minister HDR Lyngdoh on Tuesday last and demanded regularisation of the existing Kyrshai BOP to a permanent police out post in order to prevent encroachment by Assam police personnel and harassment by Assam- based militants.

During the recent meetings in this regard, the home Minister told the Union that necessary discussion has been held with the home ministry in this connection and further action would be taken shortly.

The Union also warned that if any unwanted incident took place in Kyrshai, then the government would be held responsible for the same for its failure to fulfill their tall promises.
